The People’s Pleasure Grounds is the new solo project of multi-instrumentalist Jimmy de Kok, known for his work in bands such as Iguana Death Cult and The Black Marble Selection.

De Kok has managed to turn his love for 60’s surf music into an impressively catchy record. One that makes you long for warm summer evenings filled with love, passion and a touch of mischief.

Musically accompanied by three close friends and mixed by Rens Ottink (known as the drummer of renowned psychedelic band Temples), this record has become the ultimate psychedelic surf experience of 2022. Meant to become the soundtrack of the long awaited second summer of love.
